President, CEO and Chairman

Mr. Chambers is the President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Escalera Resources, Co. In this capacity he oversees all the activities of the company.

Prior to his appointment at Escalera Resources Co., Mr. Chambers was the Managing Director of CCI’s Oil & Gas business. He was responsible for managing upstream business activities with a focus on building a domestic natural gas portfolio.

Prior to CCI, Mr. Chambers spent 39 years in the upstream business with company affiliations including C&K Petroleum, Chambers Oil & Gas, Sheridan Energy, Calpine Natural Gas and most recently, Rosetta Resources. As an executive with Calpine and Rosetta, he was responsible for acquiring over 1.4 TCF of proved natural gas reserves through corporate and asset transactions. Mr. Chambers served as CEO of Rosetta Resources and retired in 2008.

From 2005 to 2008 Mr. Chambers held various positions at Rosetta Resources, a publicly traded NASDAQ company with a value of over $1.2 Billion. He had an integral role in the formation of the company, raising      $1 Billion under a 144A transaction with institutional investors. He also participated in taking the company public in February of 2006. His responsibilities included oversight of over 350 Bcfe of proved reserves (96% gas) located in South Texas, Sacramento Basin of California, San Juan and DJ Basins in the Rockies, and the Gulf of Mexico. Production in these areas exceeded 150 Mmcfe/d. The company had over 250 employees located in 3 corporate & related field offices.

Prior to Rosetta, Mr. Chambers served as Executive Vice President of Calpine Natural Gas Company and managed their aggressive acquisition efforts. From 1999 to 2007, Calpine Natural Gas, through Mr. Chambers’ oversight purchased over $2 Billion of proved reserves, primarily natural gas. Calpine’s reserves were located in Western Canada, Gulf Coast of Texas & Louisiana, Oklahoma, Sacramento Basin of California, Piceance Basin of Colorado and the San Juan Basin of New Mexico with proved reserves exceeding 1 TCF of gas and production of over 450 Mmcfe/d.

From 1997-1999 Mr. Chambers was Vice President of Acquisitions for Sheridan Energy, a publicly traded company on NASDAQ and was responsible for the company’s successful acquisition efforts until acquired by Calpine Corporation in 1999.

Chief Financial Officer

Adam Fenster joined the Company as Chief Financial Officer in January 2014. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Fenster owned a consulting firm since 2008, providing services in the areas of accounting, finance, operations and the development of startup companies. Through his consulting firm, Mr. Fenster worked with several E&P companies. Mr. Fenster has served as chief financial officer for several companies, most recently for a downstream fuel marketer. Mr. Fenster is a certified public accountant in the State of Colorado and began his career in the Denver office of KPMG LLP. Mr. Fenster has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona.
